For over thirty years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have had chart topping success and played shows at the biggest venues around the world, resulting in a strong and loyal fan base. They formed in 1983 in Los Angeles and have become one of the best-selling American rock bands of all time with 80 million records sold, winning seven Grammy Awards in the process. Some of the most memorable and influential hits from the extensive catalogue include “Under The Bridge”, “Aeroplane”, and “Californication”.

Midnight Jungle reproduces that ultimate funk rock sound, reminding you of the awesome tunes and performances that brought the band international success, while capturing the spirit of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: fun, lively, loving, vibrant and energy filled!

We can play sets of up to 3 hours, performing all of the hits by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, from way back in 1989 (“Knock Me Down”) all the way up to 2017 (“Dark Necessities”).

Midnight Jungle are the amazing Matty on vocals, who sounds and looks like Anthony Kiedis, but without the moustache, Jordan, an extremely talented guitarist, who knows the Red Hot Chili Peppers back catalogue better than John Frusciante, Dave Navarro and Josh Klinghoffer combined, Richard, a busy professional drummer of exceptional quality, and Werner, massively influenced by Flea, on bass guitar.

All four of us are musicians who grew up with RHCP, and we have an ability to deliver the explosive performance that everyone expects from an RHCP show.

Original drummer and co-founding member AJ is recovering from a serious spinal injury.

The name of the band, Midnight Jungle, is a combination of two RHCP song titles: “Midnight” from “By The Way” (2002) and “Jungle Man” from “Freaky Styley” (1985).

Listen on SoundCloud to our professional sound recordings, lovingly made at Woodworm Studios in Barford St. Michael, Oxfordshire and produced by owner and in-house engineer Stuart Jones.
